I won't be filing my 2011 taxes until 2012 so I won't have any idea until then.

Sig is self explanatory. Not something I'd be bragging about quite frankly...
Not expecting much, definitely less than $500. Between only starting work in May, being single/not itemizing, and claiming (I believe) the correct number of exemptions (2) for withholding, I'll be surprised if I get much at all.
Still waiting on my W-2s though.
Because, you will never get above that living standard if you don't try harder. It's this time of year that makes me wonder why I work so hard all year and pay so much in taxes. Sometimes I wonder if I should just join the club. Get a job making 15k a year, food stamps, govt housing, the whole deal. Tax time get myself a huge refund and splurge on whatever I want cause the govt has all the essentials covered.
First can't file until all documents are in and that won't be until late Feb or mid March for me.
Second, I expect to write a check to "Eternal Revenue Service"
or as some prefer "Infernal Revenue Service"
Third, please fix topic title as it is the Year 2010 Return / Refund you are
filing come Apr 15, 2011
Got 11k back last year, hoping/expecting another big return.
If this is on account of you having too much withheld during the year, then you are a bigger idiot than I (see Dave Ramsey thread).
If this is on account of business deductions or other accounting strategies, well then good for you.
I asked that same question in Post #72 .. and advised the OP to correct the post TitleHow can you get your 2011 refund when 2011 isn't even over yet?
