I use the fire/police/emergency scanner app on my droid, and I liked to listen to it with my kenwood custom stereo... now that I am getting a truck, I need to know if I can still do the same thing...

does the OEM stereo do audio over BT?

If not, is that radio replaceable? I had heard *some* newer vehicles have computer control inside the oem stereo, and they cannot be replaced by a custom unit.

I doubt it, but it should have an AUX in jack which would give you better audio quality and not drain your battery quite as fast.

The LTZ radio does...no it doesn't.

I believe you can order BT on the lesser models.

Just for phones.
