Guys, what are you complaining about??

17 mpg for 312 horsepower is pretty damn good.. and that's all city. It gets almost 30 on the highway so for most people it will be somewhere in between.

And a 300+ horsepower car for under $25K?! there will always be haters I guess. 🙁
 
Too plain looking. Most of GM's lineup is awfully boring. Even the vette got boring after a while.

I have to admit that I like the exterior styling of the new Camaro. Not a fan of that WALL-E gauge cluster though.

Might have to take one on a test drive one of these days.

I took an SS out for a spin about a year ago. It was a fun car. People here gripe about how it's heavy but to be honest I'd just be looking for something that I enjoy driving and it seemed like it would fit the bill. Finances changed though so I didn't follow through on buying a car but I wouldn't mind having one in my garage if I had the chance.
 
Yeah Camaro is on the Zeta platform, but a bit updated from the G8/Holden Commodore Zeta. It's considered a great platform by pretty much everyone who has reviewed it. The problem is it was designed for sedans, which is why the Camaro is a pig compared to the new Mustang. They can only change so much on it to save weight before they just have to move to a new chassis design.
 
Looks better than the standard Camaro IMO....but red interior looks ugly as shit on the old Chevys, can't imagine it would look any better here...
 
I don't understand why anyone would buy a pig of a car like this? I believe the V6 Camaro weighs 3700lbs and the SS weighs close to 3900lbs. Why would you want a car with such weight? The Vette doesn't have this issue and comes in at a beautiful 3200lbs.

New mustang is sexier, lighter and faster anyway

i did not like the gauge cluster at all... it was well.. a cluster(fuck). i instantly felt claustrophobic in the driver's seat, too. so no camaro for me. ended up with a genesis coupe 🙂

the exterior is complete win. interior i didn't spend much time with since i knew the car wasn't for me once i sat in it. i'm not much of a dash stroker, but even i found the base model to be pretty cheap looking. perhaps the other trims (LT/SS) have great improvements. the dealership i was at only had 1 base model (LS) and the rest SS models (which were out of my price range, so i didn't bother looking at them).

because the vette seats 2 and the camaro seats 4? because it looks good and still goes resonably fast? because there are 10000000000000 mustangs on the road? because 99% of people aren't going to come near the handling limits at all?

just a few reasons.
