Since people like cheap games, and contrary to popular belief, Steam doesn't have the best prices even when things are on sale, here's some Amazon sale news for cheap DOWNLOAD PC games. This is NOT necessarily a complete list of all games on sale.

SOME of these games REQUIRE Steam, so a purchase from Amazon will be exactly the same as a purchase through Steam, you get a key which you link to your Steam account.
Others have different methods of downloading/registering. I can't be bothered to go through and find out for each, since the pages on Amazon should typically say (the ones which require Steam list it on the Amazon page, don't know about others).

Geez...bought yet another game...LA Noire. Started it on PS3, but now I can finish it in style. Amazon's download service is pretty good. Just kinda sucks when the game requires Steam. I bought Metro 2033 on Amazon, downloaded it, and then I think Steam actually downloaded it again to install. Either that, or it was one huge update.

With such good prices, Valve is gonna need to match them come Xmas. They might have been taken by surprise this time around. With no account to be hacked or banned and cheaper prices, theres no need to buy from Steam. I'm over the "no Steam no buy" thing.

Looks like most of the games come with the $5 Amazon credit towards select games in January.
