I used to get 3500+ on it before I installed my new HD, now everything is running slow on Benchmark, I dunno why.. Is there any reason for this? Bios can't be it, everything is set correctly, although I disabled the Nvidia audio driver cause I'm now running with turtle beach santa cruz, that should theoritically increase my score even more seeing as it frees some CPU work. ANyway, I hope I get some help here, this is kinda messed up, seeing as this may have been a very smooth transition to a bigger HD.

Direct memory access.... it enables your devices to "talk" directly to your RAM and let the CPU do it's own damn thang... Makes your devices not have to wait on the CPU doing it's thing.. and frees the CPU up so it doesn't have to jump from device to calculations... to device again...etc..
