2010 Nissan Versa - BRAND NEW car for $10k !! 33 MPG

i don't think i've ever seen a versa sedan around here, they're all (ugly) hatches

that 2012 sedan does look nice though

At first I thought 33 was the hwy, and was about to call serious fail on Nissan but it's 37 hwy which is acceptable. Not bad for 11k. Looks much nicer than the current sedan, which I have been seeing in increasing numbers as of late.

Not bad. In the sub-compact segment I still think the Fiesta is nicer but it has to be, it costs quite a bit more. It's nice to see that "cheap car" doesn't necessarily mean "horrible car".

This might be the kind of thing I am looking for to replace my 1995 Geo Prizm. The alloy wheels and AC on other econo boxes drives the cost up so much.. and you usually have to get a package to even get them, while I just want a basic A to B car I do have 2 things I really like to have 1: AC and 2: no stinkin' hub caps.

I'm not sure about the rear lights but otherwise it's an improvement over the current sedan imo.

I bought an 07 hatch new, ran it up til about 64k before i sold it. was a great car, lots of interior room, good mpg, and didn't have one issue.

Don't bet on getting any for that price. Every time these "economy" cars comes out as a low price, they are completely stripped of options. Add A/C, power windows, locks, CD player/mp3, ect, and you're at $15k

with new cars, even subs like the versa, you might as well plan on paying 13k or so minimum and not end up losing a lot of amenities (and resale value) for a fairly minor discount.

i was happy with my versa, it got wrecked, i'm even happier with the mazda 3 i paid 3 grand more for that is superior in every way. don't play the 'i can pay just a little more' game until you fuck yourself, but also don't perform said self-fornication by being unhappy with your car just to save a few bucks a month.

learn to read. comes with most stuff

s than the previous generation model, will be the first Pure Drive vehicle in the U.S. Speaking at the show, Nissan's executive vice-president of the America, Carlos Tavares, said that this "is a real car, complete with air conditioning, vehicle dynamic control, CD/radio with aux in, electric-assisted steering and 15-inch wheels and tires."

You want more features, like satellite radio or "Fine Vision instrumentation?" They're available of course, but they'll cost you a bit more.

Looks like a decent little DD. I may grab one of these without options for work so I can leave the Sky for evening and weekend stuff.
