What is this car? A car takes years to engineer, no way GM has cranked out a new one. I presume this is just a rebadged something or other, right?

Built on the Epsilon II platform. Same platform as used by the 2010 LaCrosse. Rebadged - Not at all.

So really it's a Buick Lacrosse. Or a buick lacrosse is a saab, each having some differences with the other but probably similar powertrain, suspension, chassis, etc.?
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic.
Why would I be? Saab has been a joke for a few years now, just rebadged Subarus.

The 9-2x was the only rebadged Subaru.

Oh well.

Also, looks like Skoorb doesn't understand platform sharing.
I do to a degree, but it still just feels like cheating to me.

Can we pretend I never entered this thread?

I like what they did with the front pillars, more car companies need to go and "try" different designs. It makes the car look completely unique and unlike any other despite it being a small color change. Same thing with the back pillars on the new XJ.

i didn't see the interior pics before. looks better than a malibu to me.

looks quite 'swedish,' in fact, though i think volvo's controls are a bit more intuitive.

Not so sure, I didn't see any meatballs in the car...
