why do all of mazda's new cars have to have such a smug little smile?
it'd be nice to see mazda stick the 2.0L in there as an option instead of just the 2.5L

Looks pretty nice, but not big enough change to trade in my current Mazda3s hatch. But if I was buying a new compact car, it would be a Mazda3, no question.

Think the Sedan looks better this time. Also, I want the Diesel!

"For European markets a newly developed 2.2L turbodiesel engine will also be available. The engine, which was just launched in the Mazda6, will output 182hp (136kW) and 295lb-ft (400Nm) of torque while delivering fuel economy figures of around 42mpg (5.6L/100km) - making it the most efficient engine in the lineup"

300ft-lbs of torque in a compact car

Why doesn't Mazda make a coupe or 3-door Hatch? What was the last coupe they made, not counting the Miata?

me too, the previous 6 and 3, either sedan, hatch, wagon, looks better than the current one. not that the current one is ugly, but I just prefer the previous gen.
