2010 e63 AMG...to get or not to get

I also have a G8 GT (2008). Lately I've looked at other cars but I can't find anything that is even close to the performance / cost ratio of the G8. If you don't mind burning more money, AMGs are sweet cars, but don't expect the maintenance costs to be comparable to the G8.

I don't like the RVR. The AMG isn't going to be a gigantic upgrade, and it's going to cost what you've dumped into your current car. You'd better have all your other ducks in shiny happy rows before dropping that kind of cash for that small an improvement, imo...and if you're that set, why not get something new, or something you're HEAVILY into?

Unless you love the car way more than it sounds like, I'd take a pass. There'll be other opportunities. Go spend some time with a CTS-V.
