I recently purchased a new civic after my 2010 was totaled. The one thing I noticed after a few fill ups is the amount of miles I get before another fill up.
Regardless if doing this is bad for the car I did it the first time just to get a few more miles out of the tank while traveling. I topped off the 2010 civic to the point where the gas was all the way to the top of the tank. I applied the same amount of gas to the new 2012 civic.
With either case in the 2010 I got about 400-450 miles out of a tank of gas. With the 2012 no matter if the eco option is on or off I get about 380. I know they are different trims and have different options but is this something I should be concerned with or is it just par for the course for the 2013 ex?
I am a complete novice at automobiles and am open to any suggestions. I purchased this car in August of this year. I haven't even been through my first oil change and have about 4k for miles on it.
I appreciate any direction or help you can provide thank you.
