2010 Chevy Cruze

Looks like a car I might look into when I gragiate. 🙂

Gotta pass English 101 first... 😉

That car does look promising. Hopefully GM will have a winner.

I think they do have a winner here, now they need to deliver on the car they are promising; high mpg, solid car with great handling, fit/finish, and right price. I hope they dont start chipping away at the features/benefits like they have in the past. Looking forward to the epa estimates on this when they test the vehicle.

Its looks ok for NOW, but being it is 2 years out i am afraid it will be outdated by the time it gets to dealers.

Who is coming up with all these super cheesy names for cars these days?
Better than boring letters and/or numbers. Mazda is officially bringing back the Miata name after failing to convince the public that "MX-5" is the same car.

Cust: I like to see the new Miata's
Sales: We don;t sell Miata's anymore, but how about a nice MX-5
Cust: hell no... (Cust dives off...)
Sales: BUT!!! Its still the same thing!!! 🙁

ANYTHING is better than the cobalt

Except for anything Ford. 😛

I dunno, the Cobalt SS doesn't look half bad (as far as performance). It's not the prettiest car, though. Oh well. Better than the new blocky turd Ford's rolling out. I forget its name.

The cobalt was better than the cavalier that it replaced. Chevy is taking a while but it's starting to go in the right direction.

oh and i can't wait till the redneck "buy american" crowd finds out this car is developed by daewoo. rofl

No laughs for you. Those people never find out anything.

I don't know why they even bother with that camouflage scheme, it's not like you can't photochop the spots out.

GM owns a controlling interest in Daewoo.

i guess you cant find the 91 sticker on the pump at the local gas station either.

Considering GM owns Daewoo, and the Cruze will be built in Lordstown, Ohio by the UAW, I'm sure the redneck crowd will gladly buy Cruze's.

I'm happy they're going smaller with cars but do they have to look like regular sedans that were squeezed smaller? I'm not sure if it's the photo or the angle but it looks really top heavy. It's like the new Nissan Sentra. I like the old cars which actually sat closer to the ground with a relatively low roof. I was driving my 2004 Sentra and happened to stop right next to an early 90's sentra. Looking at the older model, my car felt like a porker.

What the hell is up with modern cars being bloated? The car in those photos looks like a beached whale. The design is, visually, far too heavy. The front end is far too blunt as well.

I've seen svelter bodies walking into Weight Watchers.

Indeed. My BIL blasted us for buying a hyundai saying it was "made in indochina". He drives a chevy aveo. I can't make this kind of shit up!

Gone are the days of the equal looking RWD car, and in are the FWD "lets make it look like a piece of cheese" days.
