2010 Buick Lacrosse breaks cover before Detroit.

Looks good. It looks like the various other sedans out now but their nicest parts put together, so it's no revolution, but it's nice. Surely better than the acura RL out recently that looks like it's grinning at you from behind. Shameful, that is.

Just another update from the G6/Aura/Malibu line. Not that there is anything wrong with that. But it iwll cause people to just see the same GM thing of taking 1 car and putting 4 names on it. At least they, GM, is doing a better job this go around then before when the only diff. was the name.

Looks good. Lincoln/Mercury has nothing that compares to this. I can't see myself considering a single Lincoln/Mercury product over this car.

That thing is beautiful! I've been a fan of the Enclave and Lucerne, but the LaCrosse was always quite ugly. I think the LaCrosse now puts those two to shame.

The Chinese designers did a good job. A good looking Buick sedan, hell has frozen over.

I think a lot of companies are slowly realizing that global platforms can work; that you can design cars that people from all around the world can all recognize as damn sexy 🙂

I first thought, "damn, this is what the TL should look like..."

Anyways, that's a very very good looking car. This is what Buick should've been all this time.

EDIT: the front grill is ok... but I wish the top of the grill conformed with the lines of the headlights. That'd make it look more aggressive.

I'd had hoped with the new engine it would be better on gas, but added 500 lb so its the same mileage as the old engine. . .

Don't like the looks on the front. Interior seems good, but can't really see any close up shots. I would personally take the 3.6 engine if I was to buy one, but I prefer a 2 door car. Also look at where that oil filter is located. That may it hard to get at when it is the car. Same for when the alternator needs replacement, it will be a tight job to remove it.

The oil filter is in the front. You just crawl under and remove. It has been in that location for most of the FWD V6 cars on GMs line for over 20years, very easy.

Also the Alt has a built in bracket that when unbolted the Alt will either move up very easy. It will cause the Alt to cost a little more at first but should drop down over time. That and GM's Alt have come a long way and last as long as any other car makers which is 100k+ on average.

This is the first Epsilon II vehicle in the States. One look at hard points, like the roofline, fenders, etc should tell you this isn't the same car with a different name. Hell look at the huge weight increase.

Good or bad, this is a completely new vehicle.

Oh, and damn you surf control for blocking pretty much everything.

Yes, the oil filter seems readily accessible, but where it is, it will drip somewhat when you try to remove it. As to the alternator having a removable bracket, that is fine. The question is if there will be enough clearance from it to the radiator or cooling fans to get it out when it needs to be serviced. It should easily go 100K miles or so, but brushes wear out and the regualtors fail every now & then.
