Today when I check my e-mail I am suprised to find that Auzentech has not forgotten about the poor Prelude owners with their half baked drivers.

I have been using the 3rd party Auzentech Prelude Remix 1.3b drivers and it still have stability problem in Windows 7. It's very annoying. For example, repeated seaking of video playback would crash teh soundcard, producing a strong cracking pop over the speaker, and fall silent afterwards until manual reset.

I am downloading the new driver to try it out.

Auzentech Has Recently Updated Sound Card Drivers for the X-Fi Forte 7.1, X-Fi HomeTheater HD, X-Fi Bravura 7.1, X-Fi Prelude

Santa Clara, CA: Auzentech, Inc (www.auzentech.com) has recently updated its Sound Card Drivers. Update your driver for optimal audio.

* The X-Fi Forte 7.1 Driver version 1.21 was released in August.
* The X-Fi HomeTheater HD driver version 1.13 was released in August.
* The X-Fi Bravura 7.1 has two new drivers available. Driver version 1.3 supports DTS in Windows 7 and Vista. Driver version 1.10 has passed the Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) testing certification for Windows 7. Both drivers were released in July.
* The X-Fi Prelude 7.1 driver version 1.10 was released in August.
