I guess if you have to have the fastest available you can't do better than TYs. Kind of high priced though just to save afew minutes.

This is for 200 discs. That only comes to about $0.35 per disc. For Taiyos. That is not high priced. That is about what RIDatas cost average. This is a pretty good deal, assuming they are indeed Taiyos.

My bad, for the life of me I don't know why, but I somehow thought the $69.99 was for a 50 pack spindle. Excellent deal. Might have to get some myself, but have to buy a new burner first. Torn between Pioneer 110, NEC 3540 and Benq 1620 or 1640.

Cake box = 50. When you buy 200, you get 4 cake boxes.

The website sais 50pk cake box in the description, but what you get is 4 50pk cake boxes. I can see where the confusion comes in. Just ordered my two hundred. I was down to my last dvd-r.

dvd-r is slightly more compatible with sensitive stuff like 5 year old crap sony DVD standalones, or ancient early model PS2's, etc. Actually most sony DVD players are crap lol.

Friggin score! I've got an NEC ND-3500A and I just needed a firmware upgrade off NEC's site and the drive recognizes the media now. Burns at 16x like a charm! A little under 5 minutes to burn a full dvd. Thanks for teh hawt deal!

-R's are also slightly larger. A few megs. There are some disc images floating around that are too big for a +r.
