Hi
I now have an Athlon 800 (classic) CPU, 256mb pc133 ram and a kx133mobo and a Geforce 3 card. To take the best out of my GF3 I'm thinking of upgrading to a T-Bird 1,33Ghz (266 bus) with an asus a7v133 mobo (in order to keep the memory). My question is: is it worth bying a CPU/mobo with 266 bus instead of a 200? Does the 266 bus make any _NOTICEABLE_ difference?
Bare in mind that I'll be using pc133 ram.

thanks

IMO, it is worth it to get a CPU/mobo with the 266 bus because there is an increase in performance. The future CPUs will have the 266 FSB as well so in order to upgrade the CPU later you will need that bus.

Also, I don't think you will find that big of a price difference. So go for the 266!

Yeah go 266fsb, even with SDR. P.S. I'd go with ECS' K7S5A unless u want to oc, it's easily the highest performing Sock-A board out there plus it's dirt cheap ($65 US at Newegg!), but u ready for the amazing part, it supports both DDR and PC133/100! Go get it!
