200gb hd not showing up as 200gb???

whenver i install a new hard drive it doesn't have the amount of space i should get how come?

That's because Windows measures the size in binary instead of decimal like the way they are sold.

Your 200 GB drive should appear as 186 GB in Windows.

If it's showing as 127 GBs or sumthin' smaller, you need to make sure you have SP1 installed, or partition it into two smaller sizes.

Lol this problem keeps appearing......make sure that you have the latest bios updates too as this is what fixed my 160GB drive and allowed windows to see all of it.....well most anyway!!

Try installing SP1 and possibly SP2 if you like first...if it works then don't bother with the bios flash!
