It was pretty fun, the convention center is gorgeous.

My camera, if anyone is curious. It was a good deal at $270 before christmas, but now... now i think the D40 kit is $350 at circuit city.

Anyway, pretty good selection of manufacturers, notably missing were chevy(!), Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Bentley. I sat in a 370Z, 2009 STi, and an R8 4.2FSI. I was absolutely giddy when i saw the 370z. It is rather hot in person.

Big difference from the NY show, although I expect it to be poor this year.

Did you happen to notice if CC sold the D90? I need a new camera myself.

funny you should ask... my dad and i have been keeping an eye on D90 stock here and in Huntsville. Last week when camera's were %20 off, the cary store had ONE D90. As soon as they marked down %30, i went back and it was gone. haven't ventured to any other locations yet. Yes, i was rather upset about the absence of Ford and Chevy. However, the NC Auto Expo is at the fairgrounds this coming weekend and they WILL be there, as will ferrari and aston. http://www.ncautoexpo.com/

Great pics! Sadly I overslept and didn't make it downtown. The one at the fairgrounds isn't nearly as well lit, but if they have a ZR1 it might be worth going...
