Fixed that for ya.

I think it was '92

Primus, Tool, Alice in Chains, Rage Against the Machine. Various other gems from the 90s

Ohh man I miss good music.

I have it on good authority that Platypus is hosting a get together for the Chicago chapter of the Jane's Addiction fan club down at John Barleycorn the day before.

Bring your friends.

Is this fest only in one location now?

yes

Damnit... I wish it were like the old days when it might actually show up somewhere near me...

Well, I've never had the chance to see Tool live for one reason or another so this may be my last shot. Lollapalooza (where I may have to actually hotel it) or Bonnaroo (where I can just drive 20 minutes back to the house)... HRMMM...

I'd come just for the strippers and the Hep C.

I will say that unless you're a pretty devoted fan, their ampitheater show is less than spectacular. They really belong in a theater or other smallish venue.

That was 93. I went to 92, 93, and 94. It was a great. I miss those days.

deadmau5 will be there. That'll be sick.

Uh...well, if any of you cats are going to LOLLA this year, we should definitely hook up. It would probably be a pretty good time. I'll make another thread about it before the festival to see if anyone is interested. We're taking Amtrak from Omaha -> Chicago on August 5th and leaving on August 11th.

1992
Location: North America

Dates: July 18, 1992 ? September 13, 1992

Main Stage: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, Lush

Side Stage: Jim Rose Circus, Sharkbait, Archie Bell, Porno for Pyros, Basehead, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Sweaty Nipples, Arson Garden, Seaweed, Seam, Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E., The Look People, Stone Temple Pilots, The Vulgar Boatmen, Truly, Skrew, Tribe, The Authority, Samba Hell, Café Tacuba, Rage Against the Machine

Killer line up!!! Last great mega concert I've been too. The Jim Rose Circus (more like Freak Show) was one of the most bizarre acts I've ever seen, especially Mr. Lifto:shocked:

I forget which one I went to but it was either 1995 or 1996. Kicked a lot of ass. We had Soundgarden, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Ramones, and some others.
