2009.9 kbps on bandwidth test?? -read-

Anyone know a more reliable tester?

That tester says 1758.2 Kbps...

So is that correct?

its possible on an uncapped cable connection. I used to get 2.5Mbit at times b4 they capped me.

Those numbers are nothing outrageous. 1758Kbps = about 220KBps. Tests are always measuring in kiloBITS per second whereas when you download you usually see kiloBYTES per second.

I sometimes get MEGABYTES PER SECOND

I got 1176 kbps. And that's on 256k wireless.

Never mind. I just checked 1032 at speed411.com.

And I downloaded a file at ~57KB/sec. That 456Kbps. Bandwidth throttling must be offline
