Not bad. It reminds me of the new Camry. I thought the new Camry was fugly in pictures but looked good in person.

Chevy has a winner on their hands with this one, if they can keep the build solid and the eng/trans reliable.
Just wish you could get it with a manual.

I own a '05 ltz 'bu, it's a fun car to drive rides nice, good pep from the 3.5 V6
and I'm getting 23/33 MPG. I will have to admit the front end is kinga fugly and
the electric steering has little road feel but the fit and finish are better than my
mom's 06 corolla. Domestics are getting better with build quality, there are many
good choices nowadays you don't have to go the camcord route anymore...

One of the things I do is to swap emblems & ask myself things like.....

"Why would Toyota say, 'This wouldn't be our car 'cuz we'd never (fill in the blank)"'

Toyota Malibu

I think it looks pretty nice. A huge step forward. I would be all over it (or a G6, or an Aura) if I could get it with a stick. That's the only thing missing from these cars from my perspective. An auto is okay for a generic car with a standard V6, but with a base I4 or better yet the SS, a stick would be fantastic.

Bumpin' thread because I'm driving a rental Maxx a.t.m.

Looking forward to the 2008 model debut, but still disappointed that there'll not be a wagon/hatchback :(

The 1958 Thunderbird called, and wants it's interior design concept back. ;)

HAHAHAHAHA......that is EXACTLY what I was going to post. Ford invented the dual cockpit design with the 58 Thunderbird.

Hopefully they will brighten the display on the DIC (driver info center), it's difficult to read in bright sunlight.
Other than that I've got no complaints on my 05 LTZ, it's been a great car so far...

Meh, it looks nice, but I'm sure will follow the GM tradition of falling apart just out of the showroom.

ya right, like my olds intrigue that has gone 8 yrs, 170k miles, still going strong, with currently the only issue being, my belt needs to be replaced.

i don't think i've replaced anything on this vehicle that isn't a standard maintenance item yet.
