She's been at it for a while now, and despite the rains that we've had she's on track to equal last years pace.

Here's a break out by type and year:

and the campy Excel graph:

Here are the descriptors:
Name: Missy

Age: 13-14 year old muted calico cat

Weight: approximately 7 pounds

Claws: declawed in the front

History: adopted about 12 years ago, loves to sit in laps, partial to men, very tolerant of children

I see our cat is outperforming analyst expectations based on last year's performance and aging.

I have a 6 month old puppy, he's half Sheltie and half Blue Heeler.. This combo makes him look like a little German Shepherd. So far in his 6 months of life he's killed a single June Bug. My Excel graph for Zach would look far less interesting then the one for your cat. By the way, I watched the video... did she ever find the bunny? Get rid of that vegetation around your home, it's making her job harder. :p

I had no idea what a vole was, but I'm glad to see your cat is killing them.

How big is the rat she killed?

That was a weird carcass ... I'm not sure it was a rat at all, but I have no idea what it would have been otherwise. It was about 6" long plus a 3" tail. Wish I had taken a picture...

My cat's entirely an inside cat, but he's taken out 3 mice (so far, that I know of), and about 3 dozen crickets!!

nice performance for a Battle Cat without front claws. This kinda dispels the anti- de-claw crowd's argument about self-defense, no?

I'm sad to report that Missy is missing. She snuck out of the house apparently before we left for a 10 day trip. Our good friend came as scheduled to feed her, but never saw her at the house. I'm assuming the worst has happened.

:(

RIP

:( I know what it's like to lose a cat. There's still hope though, years ago my parents cat was missing for a week before he turned back up.
