2007WFP Stuck At 1024x768... GRR!!

I have two new 2007WFP monitors, I'm trying to run them together (dual) but one of them is STUCK at 1024x768. I tried testing it alone in a single monitor setup and it was still stuck, I even tried moving it to the other DVI connection. I can "force" the driver to install by going to "Let me choose which driver to install..." and it will recognize as a 2007WFP, but it still won't let me pick any resolution other than 800x600 or 1024x768, even if I unselect "Hide modes this monitor cannot support."

Ideas? Should be 1680x1050!

Does it show up in Device Manager as a 2007WFP?

yup,

one works, one doest... the only thing I'm changing is the monitor itself-- cables are the same even
