2007wfp and Aspect setting in the menu?

It seems theres only 1:1 4:3 and Full which one maintains Aspect ?

Whoops i meant to put a ? at the end, im not sure i was just guessing.

When you say maintains, what do you mean by this exactly.

I would have thought that full would have meant the full screen (including the full width of the monitor like a 16:9 aspect ratio), 4:3 is like normal TV res, or none wide aspect monitors with resolutions of 640,480, 1024x768, 1280x1024 and so on. And 1:1 is just a perfect box.

Well i run xbox 360 on my 2007wfp 1280 x 768 720p and 4:3 looks fine and its still widescreen forsome reason. Whats the deal?
