Last one was excellent. And I am planning on enjoying the one coming up this weekend.
Will you be there?

Damn, I have to work in 30 minutes, or I would be there. I haven't been down to the convention center for a few years. :(

Are you from the Columbus area? I love it here in Columbus, I visit whenever I can.
During the fest I picked up stuff for dinner from North Market, right across the street from the convention center, what a sweet spot that place is, it's a cross in between a mall's food court a deli and and a farmer's market with a variety of ethnic food types yum yum.
I wish I had a North Market in my city :)

Well, I grew up in Mount Vernon, which is about 60 miles northeast of Columbus, but I have lived here almost 5 years over two different spans. (long story)

After seeing the commonly accepted racism, and ridiculous poverty of my home county (Knox). I refuse to move back there a second time. I love the diversity here in this city too. It is actually pretty surprising for a city just under a million people.

For the food types, I work at the Kroger on Bethel rd., and found a great vegetarian Indian restaurant on the same road. (Across from Olentangy Plaza, with the Micro Center :D) Really try to avoid chains, as there are many local joints that far exceed food quality/diversity of the chains.

While the diversity of Columbus is shown in it's many districts, like many cities, the fact that you can visit them no matter what your skin color is pretty cool.

Dude holy racism batman! I haven't heard of Knox / Mount Vernon before, but from what I am hearing I won't be going there anytime soon.
