hehe, got my 3 and i love it so far 😀 😀

grats... A year and a half later, I'm still loving my '05 3

Although getting into a Speed 3 has entered my mind on more than one occasion.

I just picked up my 06 Mazda 6S HB yesterday, I think I got a good price on it. Only been driving for a day or so, and it feels great. Got hatchbakc mainly for more cargo room, and rear wiper. Love the sporty look.

I got the 6 S Sport HB with 6spd Auto, Moonroof/Bose/6disc changer, Auto dimming/homelink/compass mirror, wheel locks and cargo net. Basically all loaded w/o leather.
$21K after rebates, before tax/title/reg/dealer fees. (MSRP was $27.8k)

I just came back home to Atlanta and drove my "3" briefly. I still love the car and don't regret having bought one. I would buy another one under the right circumstances.

When I bought in Jan. 2005 I did not know my job would relocate 22 months later to Washington, DC. I now live there just fine without a car. Hence, why my "3" is for sale.

I did find out that CarMax will give me $14K for it. I would prefer more of course but might just take it to be done with it.

Wow, $21K for that. V6 or I-4? Great deal

These are hard choices!

I was considering taking a look at a MS 3, but the closest I could find is 6 hours away. That's a problem; it may be harder to bargain if there are so few of them.

I'll check if there are 06 MS6's around.

Congrats on the car. Still love my Mazda 3s Hatch (manual) almost a year later. YMMV (literally):

fwiw, here was my deal:

2007 mazda 3s Grand Touring (leather, xenon lights, seat warmers, etc)
automatic (had to so family members could drive)
moonroof/bose package
auto dimming mirror w/ compass

$20,600 + TTL = $21,800 out the door (i used a $250 off mazda zoomzoom coupon too)

Excellent! I am now putting the Mazda 3 GT in front of the Civic EX with Navigation system. I figure that I would rather have heated leather seats, xenon headlights and more performance. But still, I'm a bit worried about gas mileage compared to the Civic. I am looking at CarsDirect and getting a price of $21,600 or so with the GT/w bose, moonroof package, automatic.

Also, what color did you buy?

I am debating between Galaxy Grey and Black.

Congratulations on your car.
