I think they could've made the front end more appealing, but it's still phatty.

Well, actually, I'd rather see a Supra for what it's supposed to be (halo supercar) rather than a more "budget-minded" sports car like the 350Z.

If they muted the styling on the Lexus concept for production, it could be much nicer. I do see a slight resemblance to the Supra in it though. But again, the horns for side mirrors... ugh.

I'm betting this is just a concept, nothing more. If if does come to be, it won't be anything like the car in those pics.

Most concept cars don't do laps around Nubugring. They are static show pieces. The car shown in the video is clearly the protype production version of the LF-A concept car and they look pretty damn similar

No doubt this prototype is a dead ringer, but it's just that, a prototype. We will have to wait and see the what final product will look like.

The BMW CS1 was said to be the next 3 series, but the beemer big wigs changed that.

Umm, the BMW CS1 was a concept precursor to the 1-Series and it was a dead wringer. Ya know, CS "1" :D

Yeah, but at the time BMW was deeming it as the replacement for the 3 series here in the states, and that didn't happen. Was the 1 series released in Europe?

Uhh, no they weren't. The 1-Series was seen as model to step in below the 3-Series since the 3-Series was getting a bit expensive. The CS1 was the model for the 1-Series to be released in Europe. It has NOTHING to do with the 3-Series. And yes, the 1-Series has been released in Europe. It's not even coming here to the US so of course it wouldn't replace the 3-Series:

BMW introduced a new prototype at the Geneva Motor Show: the CS1. A small
two door convertible which shows how the future BMW 1 series could look like
The world debut of the CS1 Concept Car at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show offers the public a first glimpse of the design philosophy which might characterize the exterior of a small BMW in future.

I saw the cs1 at the NY auto show in 2002, and swore they were calling it the 3 series replacement.

What about that Caddie concept from last year? I'm not sure if it was on a track, but I recall the media getting to drive it.

with the nsx retiring, we got a new breed of sports cars.

New breed? The NSX is a horse that should have been turned into glue years ago.

The NSX is Sarah Jessica Parker?

You'd still hit that. :p

NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
