This is one fine SUV. I went to the Honda dealership the other day and the interior is just plain great - it is very elegant and high quality. Have not test drove it yet.

I'm a big Honda fan and this looks like a great car. But I'm kinda liking the look of the new Saturn Vue.

Yes, you might have to take a personal look of both vehicles and drive them both as well. The new CRV supposedly handles better than the previous one. I wanted to test drive a Fit but they didn't have any on the lot that you can test drive. I think I would pick a Fit over a CRV if I were to buy something right now.

Fit and CR-V are so different--do they both fit your needs? (no pun intended)

I guess I'd rather have a bigger, incredibly faster, and equally as fuel efficient Rav-4 for a similar price.

I saw one of these yesterday. I had to do a double-take as the profile sort of looks like a Mercedes now that the tire is no longer mounted on the back. Definitely a bit more upscale-looking. And the interior looks more upscale as well (although you could get leather in the last 2 model years of the prior CRV.) I'm glad they didn't make it TOO much bigger though. The CR-V has always amazingly roomy inside.

I still like the looks of the new Rav4 a bit better. But I do get a kick out of how the Rav4's powerful V6 repeatedly gets praised for supposedly only getting 1 mpg less than the CRV's 4-banger in the city. I have 2 co-workers with V6 Ravs. And while they love them overall, they'll both readily whine to you about how the city mileage isn't anywhere remotely close to what they were expecting.

City milage can easily be cut in half with a heavy foot. A lot of the test drive mags are basically AGAB drivers(All gas, all brake) and routinely get a fraction of advertised milage.

Me personally, I've always gotten *more* city milage out of my vehicles. But I typically drive like an old man and coast to stops more frequently than most. My 4500 pound truck is rated at 15MPG in the city, I get around 17 pretty regularly. Other people report it to be around 12.

Just depends on driving styles.
