I currently have a 2003 Mazda P5. It has 56xxx miles on it and runs great, and gets good gas mileage. However, it is pretty small ( have three kids)...and it is not the most comfortable as it is sport tuned...you feel every bump and crack in the road and it is noisy...I drive 40 minutes to work one way each day and would like something more relaxing and larger with the flexibility of having room for kiddos and "stuff".... We have a 2000 Grand Caravan that is payed for, but wife drives it and she may get a new Odyssey soon also...
The Equinox, from the reviews, is larger than a small SUV, is peppy, very quiet, handles nicely and has had a new facelift on the interior design...looks pretty sharp. AND it gets pretty good gas mileage.
Pathfinder is a heavy vehicle, that drives nice...has tons of power, lots of space...and a third seat that folds down flat...but the gas mileage is not very good and wonder about the quality based on the reviews at Edmunds.
Anyone have either of these care to comment?
