I'm not a fan of Van Der Saar but he played great in the PKs. His regular season and CL matches last season were iffy at best and I expected a change this year.

Today itt seemed like he played mind games before each kick by delaying/walking slowly/complaining about ball placement.

I think that arsenal have a good chance at suprising people. Van Persie is reaching very very good form and I think walcott is poised to make more of a contribution this season. Not that anyone cares on this forum but my 2 cents anyway.

Van Persie seems fragile as do Arsenal's plans in securing an automatic CL bid. I think the Gooners are, at most, fighting for 3rd with Liverpool or Chel$ki. I think Tevez, Hargraves and the other young signees make MU the early favorite especially with Balack and Robben rumored to be traded and Shevchenko not able to handle the physical nature of the EPL.

Boy Sheve and Ballack have been complete busts for Chelsea.

Glory Glory Man United. Thank god they got Tevez. They really need another striker.
