2007 Chrysler Sebring vs. 2007 Saturn Aura........

So it looks like, both Chrysler and Saturn (though regrettably still a GM family offering) are trying hard to finally DO something about the imports of the world kickin' their @$$ year after year.

So, after I saw the Sebring commercial again, right now & reading the "Camry vs. Aura" thread (Camry being, obviously overpriced) I wondered if the new Sebring would/could be enough to be a better "heads up" car for something like the Aura.

I hate the Saturn less than the Chrysler. Something about Chrysler's cars just rub me the wrong way, I hate them.

I saw the sebring in person at the dealer, It looks a lot better in person. Looked very well built

My dad and I both are die-hard Toyota fans, but when my dad bought his '02 PT Cruiser, I was surprised at how nice the car was. My biggest concern with American cars lies in quality of mechanics and quality of feel.

The PT felt well put together, shifted well and gave me the impression that it would last a while. (Of course, gutless, but not abhorent)

My buddy whose wife drives an Avalanche, recently bought himself a Dodge Magnum & loves it to death (despite it being a guzzler).

That said, I have more faith in Chrysler today than I did during the 90's.

Saturn I can't comment on 'cuz I just haven't gotten close enough to one.


And ultimately, to be honest, either of these 2 would have to really impress me to steer me away from probably picking up one of the new Sonatas. I think Hyundai is gonna be the next Toyota............I just hope they don't price themselves similarly any time soon.

My SL2 has been nothing but good to me. I wouldn't hesitate to get another Saturn.

I drove a base-level rental Aura for 3 days. It's very similar to the Impala--possibly same platform? I wouldn't mind owning either the Aura or Impala, but only a top of the line model.
