Climateprediction (CPDN) works on the climate problem, but is also one of the more power draining projetcs ... 😉
 
SETI@home releases the SETI_Enhanced-application, and a new multi-beam receiver is installed at Arecibo.

Climateprediction.net in combination with a serie of tv-programs on BBC releases the BBC/CPDN-experiment, a 160-year coupled model. Due to a bug detected in the models, all models is terminated and new models issued. Still, the BBC/CPDN-experiment is fairly successful, with over 100k users, most users from Great Britain.
