Speaking of the Solstice, a two-seat roadster, Champion cited a lot of little flaws.
"There is no place to put your cell phone," he said. "The cup holders are behind you, so every time you try and take a drink, you spill your drink."

It really comes down to how you define reliable and how these quacks actually test.Originally posted by: JulesMaximus

Doesn't surprise me. I have a friend who bought one about a year ago. Brand new 2006, it was his dream car. Metallic red with black leather interior...the thing was beautiful. However, he had a bunch of problems/complaints and Chevy did nothing to fix them...they just kept telling him that it was normal or they'd do a quick fix and a week later the problem would reoccur. He got rid of it a couple months ago and bought a Cadillac CTS.
BTW-He has a Honda S2000 (well, it's his wife's car) that has been perfect. No problems whatsoever.

When I hear "reliability" I think of not being stranded on the road or having major mechanical/safety issues. While non-major QA is definitely a GM issue, I still can't put any faith in this crap

I would tend to agree with you. However, when you shell out almost $50k for your dream car you want it to be perfect.
