Yeah you did, that really cool game... although I forgot waht the hell it was called. I think it's just one word. It resurfaced last year from a hiatus and you go through portal-like things into other environments. It's so cool.

PC list is lacking.

EDIT: Nope nevermind, you got it in there. Prey. Good, that's what I thought! 😛

Is it possible that your tastes in games is very narrow?

Yes, but so many of the games are just bad. STALKER is taking forever, Duke Nukem Forever is a joke, the Tomb Raider games are mediocre, Sam & Max probably will be cancelled again, and the World of Warcraft expansion will be pay to play. Quite a few meh games right there.

Dreamfall: The Longest Journey

Possibly good: Huxley, Dark Messiah of Might & Magic

Ahh yes Dreamfall, I'm looking forward to that. Hope it won't suck

Aside from Oblivion, Gothic, and Hellgate, absolutely none of those seem interesting. 2006 will suck when it comes to games just like most years have recently.

Those 3 also top my list, and a few others like Operation Flashpoint 2, Hitman: Blood Money, and possibly NWN 2, even though the original NWN didn't do much for me. Past that, I agree that there isn't a whole lot to look forward to. At the rate things are going, Oblivion may be the 2nd half of 2006 and Gothic 3 in 2007.

Oh yeah, Hitman! Those games were great, I forgot all about the fourth one. That's something to look forward to.

Ok, so I was sitting around here in my office thinking about what next year holds in store for us gamers and I gotta say -it should be amazing! Here is what I'm looking forward to:

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Oblivion
WoW Expansion Pack
Half-Life 2: Aftermath
Zelda: The Twilight Princess
Gothic 3
Duke Nukem Forever (Haaar!)
Neverwinter Nights 2
Tomb Raider: Legend
Hellgate: London
Spore
Supreme Commander
Sam & Max
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Resident Evil DS
Enemy Teritory: Quake Wars
Prey

...did I miss anything? 😀

The Witcher

I see... 2 games on the list worth playing, but I'll probably be playing them still when 2009 rolls around the corner so they are good enough for the rest of the list.
