2006 Honda Civic Si coupe

Nocturnal

Lifer
I really haven't heard much of it in the news nor have I seen it up close and personal. I'm wondering if anyone here has purchased this car and so far, how has it been as far as driving it on a daily basis? How is the handling, braking, etc?

Drop a few more grand for an rsx-s...

yeah although civic si is Faster and has LSD

That would be false.
The Civic Si is not faster.

At this point, I'd rather get a slightly used Type-S.
Looks better and I like the hatchback feature.

I'd personally go for a WRX, but I believe they're a bit more expensive (haven't checked the price on an Si yet).

Car & Driver recently pitted the Si against the VW GTI. GTI won out, but is also more expensive. Most cars in that price range and focusing on that market (pocket rocket enthusiasts) are good stuff.

Edit: To address some of the OP's question, C&D said that the Si handled better than the VW, but the VW had more pull/power.

i would hope the VW pulled more, considering it actually has some semblance of torque 😛
