Looks like a midget 2 door Accord coupe, though it looks a hell of a lot better than the current gen egg-on-wheels SI.

I really dig the lines on that car, looks pretty awesome how they 'cut' across the vehicle. I dig those wheels but I am not too much of a fan of the middle exhaust thing, not even when it is on a Porsche. The other thing that bothers me is it looks like the spoiler is some psuedo-rice "wing" on the trunk.

yeah it needs to drop the wing. Heh egg on wheels. I call the current Si and Mini-minivan

Yay! 😀 I like it alot, glad to see Honda finally stepping it up in the low end of the market 🙂

looks like a Scion Accord 🙂

anyways, it looks alright, now i wonder would they bump the si hatchback to the same power output with a same engine (K20A? K20B?)

And that's a problem because? Bigger = better when it comes to brakes.

The rear disc brakes look ridiculously oversized to me.

I never understand this - first people get upset at cars having tiny brakes and huge wheels, so when Honda actually adds very generous brakes to a car to fill the wheels, they blasted too 😛 They're screwed either way I guess.......

The Si hatchback is dead (or at least, it will be once this comes out).

I can smell the rice already.

What's the point? The stock version looks riced out already! What's next, factory installation of neon undercarriage lighting and spinners?

I really like it. Everything but the unpainted hood and the yellow-tinted foglights. The center exhaust is a little funky too. The overall body design itself is stunning. Honda really has great designers. The flow and the lines are fantastic. The wheels look a lot like Prodrive PFF-7's, don't they?

From reading the article, it sounds like Honda is going to mate the RSX-S drivetrain right up. Should be pretty damned peppy with a good power-to-weight ratio. Too bad it'll be FWD 🙁
I would expect pricing in the $25k range.

edit: I meant Prodrive GC07C's (very similar).

In all honesty it reminds me of a mini-350z with the rims it has on now.

That thing is so sick. I'm definately going to trade my 93 Si hatch in for something like this one when I have $$$.

Civic Si won't be coming with "cheapass 14" steelies."

You can bet that a lot of that won't be on the base production model.

Viper GTS

It is a concept car right now. It isn't in full production yet. It's 90% of what the production models will look like. There isn't even any interior in there. Didn't you read the article?
