Anyone own a ZX-3? I was thinking about getting one as a daily driver...plus it's uber cheep...11k for a new '05 5-spd.

Too bad the rest of the world is going to get it, not the US of A. Our Focus doens't even SHARE platforms with the Focii of the rest of the world - we have the old platform, the piece of sh!t.

When you don't even have the current line up it won't make sense. You are quoting the old focus. This is on the new platform that we've had for some time.

In Europe there are stacks of this type of car:

206cc
307cc
Megane CC
Opel Tigra

etc.

Buy a Mazda 3. It's built on the same platform as the Euro-Focus, and comes with arguably better styling and improved engine options. Problem solved. Jeez... :roll:

Meh. I preferred the old WRC-inspired turbo RS model. Now it looks like that will never come to the States, even though WRC-inspired models from other manufacturers have proved successful. Ford isn't greedy, they're just stupid.

this is all the rage here

peugeot 206 CC......small super mini sized car...with a hard top that folds into the boot
Renault Megan CC, and Peugeot 307 CC, same thing bigger car
Vauxhall Tigra, about the same size as the 206, except designed to be a 2 seat drop top from the start

we buy more drop tops than most of the world and i have no idea why coz the weather is lousy
