I voted for the two college kids who pulled down an 8 ft helium advertising ballon, got inside it and then asphyxiated. The primary reason is that it was two people (man and woman) which meant they were doubly stupid and of course the actual act of pulling the ballon down!

A couple of those sound like suicides... suicide shouldn't make the Darwin awards. (jumping out of a train above the Hudson, flying a kite using copper wire underneath transmission lines...) It's hard to decide if claiming your faith will allow you to walk on water, then walking into the water and drowning is technically a suicide. I mean, if someone convinced me I could walk on water, and I attempted to; about the time it was up to my neck, I might start having second thoughts.
