FWD V6?

800 HP, 140 ft-lb's of torque?

actually most race cars have high HP to torque ratios. ever seen the specs on a ferrari race engine? HP is what wins races, after all. if you need big torque in a race car, you've got a crappy transmission setup. you could look at your average F1 or le mans engine as the ultimate honda-style engine: super high revving, high HP per liter, and nothing going on below 6000 RPM. 😉

What? 😕 It's ugly. I'm sure it is also quite fast, but it is quite ugly.

I'm not an Acura hater or anything, my wife drives an Acura and I drive a Honda (yeah, I got screwed).

the styling is a bit iffy though... or maybe it's just the "Pimp my Ride" style paint job...

Yeah good question, why does it seat two?!?!

For taking your girl out for a night on the town...

That's not a second seat, that's a second rollbar hoop. ALMS (and LM?) rules. It also provides a convenient place to stick a crewmember to fix things when they break without having to pull the driver out of the car.

it's not the HP, it's the long flat torque curve that exists for 10,000 rpm. HP is merely an expression of torque. they have high HP to torque ratios merely because they rev so high, which allows them to change gears less.

lol are you serious about the crewmember thing?

anyway yeah they have the same rules since all teams on top of their class at season's end gets an automatic invitation to next years LeMans.
