Diamond Pro DP2070SB vs. MultiSync FP2141SB

These monitors specs are exactly the same on the NEC/Mitsubishi website, but the Diamondtron Pro is a little more expensive. Anyone know what makes this monitor so special?

Or are there other better monitors out there for around the same price?

When you say the "Diamondtron Pro", do you mean the Mitsu 2070?

If so, they are exactly the same monitor...no difference other than the external labelling.

:)

Yup, that's the one. On newegg the Diamond Pro is $691. The FP2141SB is $650. So the labeling costs $41 more on the DP! :)

Not that I am aware of...I think there is a high end Sony but it's like twice as much.

Do you like your current Diamondtron? If so, you'll love the new ones even more.

I do like the one I currently have, FE991sb. I want a 22" though, and these 2 can reach MUCH better resolutions at higher refresh rates, and it also has a .24 dot pitch compared to my current .25-.27. Not that I know anything about dot pitch, is lower better?

That high-end Sony wold be the F520, 0.21 dot pitch. I am lucky enough to have one.

Not made anymore, it's a shame. Picked up a refurbished one 3 yrs ago for $750, a steal. I'm still waiting to see a monitor that can top it in color quality.
