2005fpw hdtv

I was wonder if the 2405fpw's little brother does HDTV also. I would also like to know if HDTV is worth it. If the sceen already has a resolution of 1680x1050 isn't that higher than HDTV anyway? I watch mainly downloaded movies off the net and no not the ones you all are thinking about. I just basicly want to know more about how to turn my computer into a movie machine.

I use a 2005fpw and it is very good for both 720p and 1080p video. I'll admit that there is a bit of down scaling involved for 1080p but it is never noticable on my 7800gtx.

Do remember that a 20" screen will never be that cinematic, it just can't offer the sort of scale that a large LCD or plasma screen can offer.

From what little I've experienced of HDTV on visits to the US. I live in the UK by the way. It is very good, a huge improvement on the old 480i and indeed 576i resolution offered in Europe.
