2005fpw and 9800pro problem

Hello, i recently purchased a Sapphire 9800pro 128mb to upgrade my ti4200 but when i hook it up via DVI i get weird squares and stuff on the screen. I have a 2005fpw and it works fine with my ti4200 but not this. I also tried hooking up with analog signal but that doesn't work at all. I remember reading about other people having similar static problems, just wondering if anyone knows what to do, i don't think its a hardware problem though. Thanks and here's a picture.
