2005 Toyota Highlander 4cyl 2wd

Car is for my mom.

This brand new car or a 2001 Highlander Limited (all options -V6) with 60k

Same price.

we test drove the lot of suv's. The 4 cyl. highlander is a bit noisier than the v-6, because it is working harder to move the mass. Otherwise, we liked it . It just did not fit my frame as well as the honda pilot.
we also like the saturn vue, it had the best fuel economy in the class, with a peppy v-6 option. It did not fit me either
4 years old and 60 k is a lot to give up against new, even considering the 4wd limited package. That is a tough call, but I'd go new, or keep looking for a better used deal than that.
