2005 Porsche 911 [997] GT3 Cup

Funny how that Lexus thread is blowing up with posts about which car handles better... but a thread about a racecar is empty.

EDIT: Oh and

The current GT3 looks much better than this. I am sure this performs much better than it though.
I like the eyes of the current prorsches also - not a big fan of the old school lights porsche is going back to.

minus the wing, that's one hot car.

The wing is needed on that car, it is as small as it could be but you don't build a car like that and let the rear slope without a wing to keep those wheels to the ground.

It is a beautiful car, if i can ever afford one i'll buy it.

For me it is Porsche or nothing.

I am renovating an older 911 turbo atm, it is nice but it is brutal to drive.

hmm how many styling variations can porsche make to the 911??? I bet it gets old quickly...

It's not a styling variation, and it's not meant for regular customers.

I'm not huge on the wing either...but dang do I love a Porsche. Wish I had that kind of cash laying around.

Get an older 911 and spend some time on it, have you seen Anubis 911?

He talked me out of buying a new boxter so i bought an older 911 turbo and i have no regrets, a bit more to do and i will have twice the car for half the money.

There is no other car like a Porsche.

They'll probably lose more customers if they changed the style instead of just keeping it like that for another 30 years. When they pulled the plug on the 911 back then... they had to bring it back out.
