What kind of options are you given when you want to run at a lower resolution.

Say I wanted to run at 1024x768.

There's 1:1, which just displays the actual pixels (1024x768 would be a 4:3 box in the middle of the screen), Fill (which obviously blows the image up to fullscreen regardless of aspect ratio), and Aspect (which scales the image up as large as it will go while still maintaining its original aspect ratio).

Hah, as if I would pay that much for the first LCD. No way, my girlfriend wanted one and asked me to find out.

This year however, I will buy an LCD screen. It's cheap enough to trial it. I will post my findings when I get it. It will be either between a Dell 1704 FPT at Dell.com or a Samsung 730B at a Staples store. Probably the Samsung since I can get it quickly and it's 40 bucks cheaper without even talking about the shipping costs for the Dell.

Spoken like a true owner

I'm thinking of upgrading to the 2405FPw and giving this 2005FPw to my parents ... but maybe in a few months, when a great deal shows up
