B/C Ford had to license some technology from Toyota to get their hybrid vehicle out the door.

do you seriously think that ford got the tech from toyota and had it in a working vehicle on the streets of manhattan a month later? more likely ford invented something similar to toyota so instead of a patent fight in court they did a nice licenising agreement.

I think its great that people are looking for ways to get away from oil. It is a small step and we must work hard to search for good, alternative fuels.

hybrid is sure a good start though :)
