it should only drive the front wheels when the going gets tough rather than being a FWD until the rear is needed

He words it a little awkwardly but his point is that it should be 100% RWD until it detects slip (like with Nissan's ATTESA in the G35), and only then should the torque be split to the front wheels.

Sorry, I messed up the names in the quote. I was actually talking about JDub02, but it doesn't matter anyway as I misread his original post. I agree with what he wrote.
