Looking at buying a 2004 Toyota RAV4 awd with manual transmission. It has 155k miles. Any reasons not to. Seems it would be depndable etc. any tips?

The 02-06 2.4 was known for weak head bolts.
Clutch job on the AWD model for that generation might be pricey. Dealer may quote you north of 3K. Independent shop might charge you 2K.
with a good former owner, clutch should still have plenty of life with @155K on the clock but you should be be prepared for a clutch job.

That being said, assuming it's isn't one of the cars hit with weak headbolts it should be a solid buy.
