Wow it sells 7,000 more units. But GM is the one who chooses to split them between two divisions. Does Ford get to lump together Mazda's trucks sold? What about Lincoln?

You can have your clue back. Ford is still #1 any way you look at it in units sold.

I'm just curious what the hell any of it had to do with the thread anyway 😀

Mazda doesn't sell fullsizes. The Lincoln's been discontinued after sales that make the DeLorean's seem high.

Either way, It's a different brand and company. GM chooses themself to sell two seperate truck lines. My point was that Ford could make a Mazda full size and sell it. But I wouldnt think it was fair for them to combine sales.

Although it looks nice, it's simply too much $$$ for Nissan to really break into the 1/2 ton truck market.

The interior? Yep, it looks really sharp but it would get TRASHED in short order if it were a work truck. One other thing to consider is the price of replacement parts. I know parts for my friends Frontier aren't cheap, and the majority of truck buyers are not willing to pay excruciating prices for replacement parts.

Good luck to Nissan as I think they've put a nice product out here, but I think they've simply priced themselves out of a large portion of the market.

You make some excellent points, and you're right; especially about the "work truck" market.

But these days, pickups are being purchased for daily-driver duties as well as just for work trucks.

Depending on how sales and how the AFTERMARKET responds to this truck, I may be looking at it as an alternative to a 4x4 F250 in a few years.

Not to mention that there is PLENTY of romm under the hood for a supercharger, or even turbos 😉 The titan could easily become a Ford Lightening or SS competitor 😉
