Did they ever put the new R1 on the dyno? ... they were basically claiming more or less the same thing... which i doubt... :p

Id still take the R1 over this though... but i'll run out of talent within 5 minutes. :(

Since you drive an old porsche it's still got more than your current car doesn't it ;)

Those things are freaking death rockets. Too fast for me!!

The R1 is a much nicer-looking bike, IMO and the difference in performance between the two is completely moot at street speeds.

I need to by another XTerra. I miss that truck sooooooo much. Besides, who cares if this isn't a Nissan thread. Fausto's hijacked soooo many threads... he can spare one of his own :D

I agree. A shame because I'm trying to be a Kawasaki fanboy, but Yamaha keeps building better looking bikes that are just as capable on the track and around town.:frown:

So....how's life under the rock anyway? :p

It's made by Suzuki. Officially the "fastest production bike ever" since it slipped in just before the 300kph limit was agreed on the japanese manufacturers.

Pics and ride review. They're stupid-fast, but also long and pretty heavy.
