People said the same exact thing towards Japan before. Look at how highly regarded Japanese products are considered now. Image change takes time, and these are all steps of progression.

That is incredibly true, only it's happening faster for the Koreans than the Japanese. It was just 10 years ago that Samsung made nothing but total crap - look at how highly regarded their cell phones, monitors, etc. are now.
